It's inside. I can't see it but it hurts to the point of I'm getting ready to go to the hospital in about 10 minutes if it does not stop. I'm only surfing now to try to take my mind of it.
my friend has one awhile back... he pretty much described it the same way... he also said that after he passed it, that it quit hurting instantly....hope your better soon, i imagine that shit must hurt like hell.
if it is non stop excruciating pain making you want to double over, then it quite possibly is. I had one last year and needed IV painkillers. It took a few days to pass though, dont expect it to just pop out while you are pissing today. The hospital gives you a strainer to take home and piss through as they want the stone to examine to make sure its nothing more than just calcium buildup.
My wife says they are worse than giving birth without pain killers. She has done both, and would trade child birth for a kidney stone any day of the week.
Yea I had one started in the lower back was fucking unbelievably painful. same story as above ER put me on iv painkillers and the shit still hurt till it quit moving for the time being. Then i was sent home with a strainer and a script for some pills. Fuck I hope I never get them again, had 3.
I had some little kidney stones before that I ended up passing on my own. At first I used to get this pain in the lower part of my back, it's not like a normal pain, it was kinda like a tickling pain (kinda hard to explain) that would go off and on for short periods for many months, then one day I woke up and it was horrible, I was actually in tears because it hurt so bad and there was nothing I could do about it. I did end up going to the hospital, but then started to feel better, so they assumed that it broke up and was passed on it's own.
It was horrible, I can't imagine having a full size one in me.
If I am not mistaken, that's one of teh causes of my grandfatehr's death. He's a heavy drinker and dad told me that he aint really that conscious with his health back then on his younger days.
I had one 3 weeks ago...or something. Not really sure if it was a kidney stone but I was in some real pain and I couldn't make it go away no matter what I did. However, it wasn't extremely bad pain so I may have just had a very small stone.
Have you been pissing blood, vommiting?
Eitherway go to the doc. You wouldn't want to get that shit stuck in your urethra, that's for sure.
