The umps then called A-Rod out for interference (proper call) and Jeter had to come back to first base.
The Yankee "fans" then started throwing baseballs and other crap at the umps and BoSox players whenever things did not go right. They eventually had to bring cops in riot gear out onto the field to restore order.
It was the 8th and 9th inning, so my opinion is that they should have just called it and given it to Boston.
Well, that was my opinion then anyway. In the end it was fun watching NY get their hopes up, only to lose anyway.Comment
