I was in NYC a few years back where a lady came up to me and said, "Mister, help me out. I'm hungry, my kids are hungry, we haven't eaten in a week. Give me a dollar so I can get them some food."

She looked strung out, but perhaps that she's just sick. It was a cold winter day in midtown Manhattan. I has just walked out of a pizza place with two large pizzas and was headed out to Long Island.

I said to her, "I just spent my last $20 in there. Here's a pizza it will go a lot further than a dollar."

She takes the pizza, looks and me and says. "I don't need your damn food, I need your money. F-you. F-you."

She then threw the Pizza in the slush on the sidewalk. I couldn't believe my eyes.
