Why do people find it so hard to believe that people help each other in this biz for no other reason then to be nice???? I go to shows all the time, and have people say, "You're Tat2jr?? You helped me once back in the 90's, what can I do to help you?", and since I took 3 years off to party my ass off, I can use the help now in different areas. It's called being nice.... it's called karma!

That would explain her absense in this thread. I'm not sticking up for Ashley - but her absence is due to the fact she's in transit atm...whether she chooses to post to this thread when she gets home is another story...

Oh I am so glad I am only in this biz for the money, and don't give two shits if a girl gets a big head, flakes on her partner, cheats on her husbands, sleeps with her fucking dad. As long as she's making me money who give a flying fuck what she does, how hard she works or doesn't work isn't an issue.

It's harder to make money when the girl in charge keeps changing her mind. For many it's just easier to pull the links and move on to/stick with something more stable. Still considering it myself.

But wouldn't pulling the link create the same amount of work as changing it? Actually more, cuz you'd have to physically delete all banners, etc, where as if you just changed it you could do a find/replace...

And are you saying that an affiliate program can never upgrade it's program from one, say CCBill, to another Cascading, say like NATS? Isn't that considered "growing" and "improving"?

you're right, affiliates shouldn't care about any of that shit - what an affiliate cares about is that the sponsor tries 100% his or her best to convert his traffic into a signup - and on a revshare program that the sponsor tries 100% his or her best to retain members as long as possible and is there to support the affiliate when he or she needs support.

In my case, "pulling links" involves editing a few text files and putting a pretty little X next to her hosted gallery URLs.

With regards to growing and improving, see the word "stable" in my msg above. We've had at least 2 directions so far. Perhaps it will settle down, perhaps it won't. I am still waiting.

(Is ccbill still working in the meantime? Are we still being credited for new sales? Who owns the master account?)

no I did not skirt around TNA - at the time all I knew of TNA Cash and its owners, Aron and John, came from Ashley. Ashley's contract with TNA was expiring on January 1st 2005. I never suggested she leave TNA Cash before her contract ran out. That was Ashley's decision.

i met Aron only after the site launched when I noticed he was sending her signups : )

There is no other program owner on this board that wouldn't find a way to make some kind of official statement in a thread like this, no matter where they are. Airports all have internet kiosks these days.

Models can get away with saying shit like that to their members, but program owners to affiliates is a different story.

This thread is funny, while I am sorry to see Mutt disappointed after working very hard to try and help someone have something better for herself. The facts are the facts.

Most who said they are not going to send traffic, and are pulling links are a 3 minute internext or cybernetexpo suite party lapdance away from doubling the traffic they sent to AshCash, and then they can all make excuses and justifications.

Ashley is special, Mutt still even says so. WHY? you may ask yourself.

A. She is American. Throw all the traffic you want at mass produced iron curtin content girl fake solo girl site, but again those who know what I'm about to say, know where they want to send their traffic

B. She IS beautiful. lets face the facts. Most solo sites look as if the program "settled" for the model. They are mostly C calibur net models at this point. C'mon it's true and we all know it.

C. She is/can be charming as hell (note: smart, and business savy are not words I used here) . This comes across in her writing and more important in her Photo's. ( to the photographers credit as well)

People must have short memories. Lets break this down for the people who arent getting it. She broke contract with us to go out on her own, fine, shit happens. She goes around spouting how terrible we were, looking for someone to help her. She wants to run her own site, Enter Mutt. Now for those jumping on Mutt, he didn't get into this to do all the work he ended up doing, he got into it to help her LEARN HOW TO RUN HER OWN SITE so she could do it herself. Give her a boost and show her what it takes and what she needed to learn, did she, NO. She strung Mutt along so he would do as much of the work for her as long as she could. She not once made an attempt to start learning what she needed to so Mutt could move on. Remember all her old threads stating she was starting her own program and that she was finally happy to be in control of her own site and out from under someones thumb? Well guess what folks this is the outcome... If she had been earnest, hardworking, and honest she would have succeeded and would not even be in this mess right now.

As someone who promotes a lot of solo girl sites on SE sites, I have a little experience with this niche.

First things first. Why is she advised not to post in this thread? News flash to Ashley, you are now the content, webmaster, and program owner. You are no longer some model who comes to the board and posts a few fan signs, flirts with the guys, and takes off. You are the voice of the program now. No matter who is to blame, people are going to be pissed off. As a business owner, you sometimes have to sit out there in the shit storm and take whats coming to you. It shows clients/affiliates that you are serious about the business. That leads to the next point.

The sheer callous attitude toward affiliates. As the Da Vinci-esque artwork stated, you don't really seem to care. "Hey everyone, spend your weekend switching around links because I didn't really think out a solution". You didn't even look into a solution before telling affiliates to drop links. I find it hard to believe that this was something that just came up the other day.

What it comes down to is the professionalism of the program. The thing with solo girl sites is they come and go quickly. You had an opportunity to be huge based on your early success and the fact that you really did have a look that surfers liked. But the truth is that there are new solo girls coming out everyday. As great as you may convert in the future, it's much easier to send my traffic to a solo girl site that is run by a professional company that won't up and e-mail me one day and say "Oh by the way, change all your links I'm switching to NATS".

Hey there... I am new to the boards I see there are some lengthy posts so hopefully you will read through mine too

I just finished reading for the last 2 hours about this Ashley and Mutt ordeal. I dont want to be remembered as part of that fiasco BUT I also wanted to add my 2 cents coming from a webmaster/ solo girlsite performer/ site redesigner. It ISNT easy. Think about this scenario... You are getting emails asking why passwords dont work (you have to check scripts to see if someone is blocked or their membership isnt working or any other BS like that), same time you have to fix this error that you cant figure out because you left out something in the source (oh, that's right, I forgot most girl-site-performers dont know HTML). You also have to worry about your affiliates and cam shows and cancelling members. This is only 1% of what a webmaster goes through EVERY DAY. I spend sometimes 18 HOURS a day working on my site.. journal updates, gallery designs [resizing, photoshopping if needed, watermarking, etc], answering emails, and there is a lot more. I am always brainstorming and emailing. Anyways, I am offtrack.

I dont mean to "toot my horn" but I work hard as hell keeping my site afloat. So many of these girls have their "paycheck" handed to them on a silver platter and they give girls like me who work their asses off, a bad name. Mind you, I wouldnt give up working on my site for the world but I WANT to learn. I admire all girls who want to do it all themselves but unfortunately, when you decide to spread your wings and fly without a safety net, others fall with you.

I see how some of the blame is put on Mutt... not good. I know many people who have helped me for no other reason than to see me do well (my ex included). To get someone set up and on their feet and flourish is VERY rewarding.

Unfortunately, I think that Ashley is a leap then look kind of girl and she didnt realize that there are concequences.

I admire you Mutt... I just wish there were more guys like you and more girls that followed through but unfortunately this job is tough and girls in this industry are usually just looking for an easy way out.

Pretty girls have all the luck. Do a weeks worth of shooting which translates into enough content to last a year or two and do one cam show per week, and earn 100% of revenue from the site.
