    "the machinist" the other night, he plays a man who hasnt slept in a year..lost 68 pounds for the role..

    hard to believe its the same guy.



    I dont see how actors can fluctuate their weight like that without negative effects on their health. I guess the millions of dollars help a little.

              Alot of people whined when they chose him as the new batman, if the guy gives that kinda commitment to a role then the new batman should be a nice film.

                                  But I agree his weight loss was pretty shocking for that flic. He apparently wanted to lose even more (20 pounds) but the producers wouldn't let him.
