Having affiliates ask for special goal items isn't a new thing at all!... I cut deals like that all the time to help people get the tools and/or reward they need. Usually, we can work something out where they get the item as a bonus in addition to payment rather than in lieu of it.

If i make a thread, which sponsor wants 100 sales i will get 50 replies, if i make a thread which sponsor wants 100 sales and pay me out with a laptop noone cares.
