    Overture... WTF?

    We're trying to do a campaign with them... First the listings get declined because they need a username/password for the paysite. Really not their concern, but we fixed one for them. Resubmitted a bunch of listings and 8 days later we get this:

    "Site Ownership

    We are unable to accept your listing because your Web site does not have sufficient personalization. Web sites with affiliate relationships must take the user to a personalized page. Personalization must include your name or your company name and keywords submitted for this page must have a clear relationship to the content on the personalized pages.

    Please check that the page you submitted meets the requirement above and resubmit your listing."

    We are trying to sell an adult paysite here. WTF is wrong with those people?

          Happened to me too 1 week ago, i just wanted to link my thread on other board about it, but realised it's not a good idea.

          I've heard you have to pu "affiliate" at the end of your description, I did it, but got declined again.

          I emailed support by using the official form but the email bounced, lol, so i will have to do it again.
          I don't use ICQ anymore.

              Writing a mail to them now... And why couldn't they say this the first time instead of asking for a password? Did the reviewer just want to look at some free porn?

                  Overture declines for bullshit reasons. I don't use them because they don't convert anymore.

                  Fastsize sells like NO other! Think of a big industry name, they probably upsell us!

                      Used them a year ago with pretty good results... Guess we'll have to check out adwords instead.

                          Trust me Anna. Don't waste your time. Unless you have grandfathered bids, you're going to lose money.

                          I get 250% returns on my adwords traffic, and I lose about 70% on my overture ads.
                          I know PPC too, so it's not me.

                                                      I'd love to use overture again, but they screwed us big time.

                                                      First time they took our money because we did not use it all up in the one month period, so they just scratched all we had in there. Second time they kept giving us keyword listings even though our money was already passed $0.00. So now we're in dept there and I refuse to put money in an account that has a negative balance in the first place.

                                                      They really are idiots, too bad they have listings on many places
