Quiz time: Assume I got a list of 590k adult search terms...

...and I clean it off all the illegal, unwanted terms like scat, bestiality, animals, pre-teen, CP and such and such.

How many terms are left?

The person with the closest guess wins a wet and strong handshake (assuming we'll ever meet).

you also need to clean out shit like disney/barbie/martel and all the other copyright protected crap. it will take you at least 10 days to do it, i you do it propperly.

how do I know? because I did that 6 years ago and made millions with altavista/infoseek/excite and webcrawler ...

your core list is too small already, maybe you'll end up with 80k terms, start with a 2.5mil core list ... overture inverntory is great !!

Typically when I start with a niche with some basic keywords (ie: lesbian, lesbo, girl on girl, etc. etc...) I end up keeping only 3-4% of all keywords after I run it through my harvesters. So if you have 590k, I'd venture a guess of 17700 - 23600. That's a rough estimate using my research patterns. It really depends where you pulled the 590k from

I fed my text harvester with about 50-70 terms and it cut the list by about 100k terms. There was lots of rubbish in there, too - like random strings of numbers/characters.

The list is pretty damn good to begin with, it's all adult terms, no double entries, just very, very VERY particular search queries that differ only slightly. Hence the large number.
