KRL - I don't like how men.com looks like!

I remember there was a header contest few months back, and there were some nice entries, I especially liked a flash entry by someone, can't remember the name.

Recently checked men.com and saw that none of the headers were used and instead the design is oversaturated, weird looking in opera, doest load up correctly in IE if that blue entry ad does't load, banners are overused... The design simply isn't user friendly at all, and from a surfer point of view, (putting myself in the surfer shoes) I personally wouldn't go back to that site.

I am not trying offend you with this rant, far from it, I'm just saying I don't like the site and IMO you could earn more if you organized the site better, same amount of ads and maybe more but better planning.

I have someone handling it all in house.

What I care about is the bottom line. It made a bit over $3,000 today. To some people thats nice to some its nothing. Its all relative. In terms of an investment return that is aok for now. I'm long term on this project, not looking for quick bucks.

The new magazine version with major advertisers launches Nov 15.

The portal crapper still makes nice coin though.

Over the years I've made more money from sites, TV commercials, ads, etc. that people said sucked than from those they thought were pretty. Go figure why? I haven't a clue. If I showed everyone here my portfolio of years of 900 TV commercials you'd all laugh at those too. I laughed too and all the way to the bank.

When you're making in a day what I'm making a month, (if I'm lucky), that's serious money. Good grief, I'd love to be making that much a day. I know a few people here are making that and more, and I envy them. I want to learn from them, drawing the information and soaking it up like a sponge in order to apply it and start making that kind of $$.
