    looking for the best island to visit on a holiday.

    nice resorts - doesn't need to be lifestyles of the rich and famous - just nice.

    cool things to do in the day

    awesome nightlife with lots of friendly girls.

                                      it's not an island...on the continent itself but I can guarantee you that it beats all the rest! been to a lot of places in the carribean! COSTA RICA!

                                                                                  I've been all over the Carribeans as I used to work on a Cruise ship. The Bahamas were pretty nice, Bermuda was absolutely GORGEOUS.

                                                                                  Barbados and Costa Rica were my 2 favorites of course.

                                                                                  But if you want to shop, go to St-Thomas or St-Maarten.

                                                                                  The best beaches are around Tortolla.

                                                                                  Hmmmm, the rest are shit holes hehe

Not the Carribean side, but the Pacific side. Look for flights to Liberia, not San Jose. It's a smaller airport in the Guanacaste province with all of the nicest beaches around.

                                                                                                                                      You will land within 50km or so of most of the nicest beaches in Costa Rica. Flamingo, Tamarindo, Octal, etc. You will also be a few hours drive from an active volcano with beautiful naturally heated spring water pools as part of a resort. Not overly expensive, but very nice.

                                                                                                                                      That's where you want to go.

                                                                                                                                                  Not that I've been to many places in the Carribean, but one you may not know of is San Andres, Colombia.

                                                                                                                                                  It's an island closer to Costa Rica than it is to mainland Colombia, but it has a very rasta/carribean style.

                                                                                                                                                  You have some HOT Colombian women, tons of activities to choose from (like taking a submarine to shark reefs, snorkeling to see an underwater aquarium, ATVs, etc...) and the land is barely touched by tourists, so it's not commercialized yet and everything is dirt cheap.

                                                                                                                                                  You can also checkout Captain Morgan's cave, house and even party on his ship at night in the middle of the ocean!

                                                                                                                                                  Drink some "aguadiente" if you're ever there.....

Flew in, stayed on a friends boat then cruised it over to St Barts. This is the island that left me breathless. I literally had to remind myself that it was all real and not a dream. Would have make such a romatic getaway *sign*.
                                                                                                                                                                      It is very expensive and very worth it.

Order a pitcher of mojitos and have the pretty girls give you a beach side massage at your cabanna.

                                                                                                                                                                                          although some can afford the BEST 5 star resorts to make it affordable for all i need a place everyone can afford and those with more money can get better ultra suites and such but others can get rooms for $100-$200 ish
