I have never in my 9 years of visiting Thailand ever seen anyone inspected upon arrival. I have seen it happen on the way out... but never in.
If you don't want to clear it, get one of those programs that will hide it. LOCKED is the name of one of them I think. Unless they suspect you are into some serious shit, they would do nothing more than a quick glance at best on your way out. Even then your odds of being inspected are probably less than .01%.
