    $400 Logo Contest.

    Logo for: Beetx.com
    Sub header to be: "Beauty and the Beet"
    Size: 650x250
    Colors and fonts: Open
    Animations accepted.
    Concept: BeetleJuice promoting "Playboy type" models. Soft core theme. Beet will not be performing any sex on this site. He will do audio previews, reviews and directional and promotional pictures. His image may and should be used, however it should be flattering, not an easy task. (it's all about contrast) Pictures of "R" rated females can be added (no spread shots, topless at most) if you own the rights. If you need content of such you can request it.
    Caricatures or photoshops of his image should play a part. You can use any image from www.jollydwarf.com (for references purposes only NO NOT COPY) or GFY thread http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showthread.php?t=523207 for those that don't know what Beet looks like.
    RULES:
    1) Runs for 14 days from time posted.
    2) If we find work we like before the deadline, we will post a 24 hour window for designers to finish.
    3) Payment will be Paypal, CC, or check only.

A thread like this a year ago would have gotten much more attention. Those lame ass way too late or even non paying companies ruined these contests I guess.

I've posted 9 different logo contests in the past and have a solid record. I try and be honest and post the rules as I forsee it. I would have bumped the contest more, but I am in some what of a hurry. An important factor is that AdultRMX took all the direction as I posted, (including making beet look flattering) and got the pimp hand strong.

                                                                                                                                  The contest is NOT over, everyone stills has 23 hours.

                                                                                                                                                                  Beetle Juice is obviously a big part of this site, hes the gimmick. Your logo should feature him and should star him.

                                                                                                                                                                  Ask yourself what about Beet makes him beet?

                                                                                                                                                                  Besides his off the wall commentary it has to be his face. His bug eyes, teeth and small head.

                                                                                                                                                                  Why not take a picture just of Beetle's face, add some fish lens distortion, and add some bright cool font. And there you have it.

                                                                                                                                                                  Take the same image and create a vector character/toon version of the logo.

                                                                                                                                                                  To all the designers out there this could be a nice oppurtunity to get more work...one plug of this site on thejollydwarf, howardstern.com, or on the show and this site takes off.
