So I was in good old Canada, and before heading to the lame ass clubs and the awesome strip club, me and my friend ate at someplace named "Kelsey's." Semmed like a combination of Denny's and Applebee's. Anyway, the girl asked if I wanted gravy on my fries, and I didn't know what the fuck she was talking about. Apparantly its big in Canada, so I said sure, put it on the side and I'll give it a try. Man, fucking good. At first I thought you Canadians were off your tree for putting gravy on fries, but now I know you're onto something.

haha thats funny.. ketchup or gravy is all i know.. and than when i moved to quebec there was cheese and gravy, and i was like wtf.. but no time at all that became very popular...

what the hell do you eat your fries with?

I usually only eat my fries with ketchup. Although occasionally I'll eat them with mustard, or a mustard and ketchup blend I like to call metchupard. And every now and then I'll put some ranch dressing on them.

what u talk about fries and gravy is call ''frite-sauce'' well exactely the stupid word to word transaltion of sauce-fries

if u add sone cheese to it you get a ''poutine'' by melting the cheese over the fries when you add some hot gravy many city in quebec, witch is a province ( state) of canada claim to be the bitrhplace of this combinaison but most likely its been started at ''VICTORIAVILLE'' witch is a famous place for there hockey stick industry ^^

hope u apreciate the historical part of it ^^

I am not a big fan of fries and gravy, though its pretty good with the darker gravy (I think its turkey gravy) rather than the light baby shit colored stuff that tastes like wallpaper glue and salt.

Poutine is great. Nothing like having a serving of heart attack. LaFleurs in Montreal has damn near the best poutine I have ever had. (not sure if I got the spelling on the name right)

LOL. I hate it when I go to the States and ask for gravy, they look at me like I am nuts. Meanwhile, most times they have gravy on everything else, shit is just smoothered in it, but when you want it on the side for the frittes, it's like WTF LOL

sometimes I like putting mayo on my fries. But gravy at New York fries is awesome.. hell they even have movie theaters up here with pizza - new york fries - burger king in them so you can get a nice snack when watching a movie

The wife and I were in a food court in Boston awhile back and I ordered fries with cheese & gravy (thinking it was gonna be somewhat similiar to poutine).

Big mistake!

They nuked some Cheez Whiz and poured it over the fries!

We sat at the table and laugh`d our asses off. It was disgusting just to look at...let alone eat.

Took a pic of it, even...it was so raunch. Gotta dig it up and post it.
