sounds like your previous job history there is another issue..

i think your just not well liked, and probably tons of stories about you there..so they probably are thankful for the info, but probably also dont want to hear you pontificate about the problem, lens, etc..

probably the whole, do you know who this is line..like it matters.

i dont know you or am i taking sides, but i can see why they may hang up on you.
