Campaigns to clean up anything on the internet always turn out to be spitefests. If I were to take an activist stance I would approach it from the angle of encouraging (or making it required for) parents to take strict control over kids' use of the internet. If your kid is too young for unsupervised internet don't push off the babysitting to filters or laws. The only software you should trust with your kids is maybe software that only lets them see pages you approve but that is still no license to leave them unattended with it.Originally posted by sexeducation

In the case of adults - the complete shut down of AVS IS PLAINLY WRONG and an over reaction by the current administration. There MUST be a way to prove online that you are an adult.
