lol, if you want possible clients to check out your portofolio it wont help if they have to press alt f4 ten times to get rid of popups and dialers ,

I'm going to give her the benefit of the doubt and ask if perhaps she didn't know about the crap on that page, (i.e., it was added AFTER she posted a link. That's happened to me). Somehow I don't think it is a deliberate thing.

That site is an ARS CHAMPS site. CHAMPS has moved from ARS to Pimproll recently, so they may have changed things, I don't know. This CHAMPS site is not mine and never was. The other CHAMPS site in my portfolio was mine and has been sold. I have had zero control over the site, ever. I designed it and added it to the system, and it has been out of my control ever since. Any popups or anything else on the site was installed by ARS or Pimproll and I had nothing to do with it. I'll remove the links if they're popping things like this. Sorry for the inconvenience.

What if you linked to screenshots of your work rather than linking directly to the sites you've designed (that you now have no control over)

?

yeah thats basically what I do, that way you are sure the potential client actually sees YOUR work instead of anything else ;)

Seems really bad to literally tell someone "fuck you" when you can see at a glance that the site is listed on a completely different domain. Especially when you know someones good reputation ahead of time..

Then you reply to a completely cool headed simple explanation that really shouldnt have been needed in the first place with "np"?
