I totally agree with Joe's statement. Don't think your going to have an easy ride if you go shooting Porn in India. First of all you guys have no idea what India is like and how big it is. I have traveled to India several times and lived there for more than 5 years and spent a considerable amount of time and money researching this subject of shooting porn in India. Even though I am half Indian and live very close to India when I am not in US I still wouldn't go shooting porn over there. I heard that a French crew of 4 got busted in September trying to shoot a hardcore video at a motel in New Delhi with a Femina Miss India chick and got busted on the spot. And another Brazilian director was taken in to Custody trying to negotiate a few adult movie deals for 3 university girls in Mumbai in April.

The Cops have eyes every where and the take immediate action against foreigners who shoot porn in their country or if they find out that their girls are being taken to adult movie biz.

There are a few local film makers shooting home made porn to a honey bunch of Indians down Madrass. And if these locals? guys get caught they can get them selves out of jail in a day, Simple as that. Foreigners don't stand a chance in their legal system.

My advice is stay away from India if you don't won't to get thrown in a jail. This is a risky thing to do in India.

I am negotiating with two model agencies in Bangalore to hook me up with Indian models living overseas to be shot in Thailand in 2005. So if you want to play it safe and keep your ass away from Jail find yourself some hot Indian girls who are in Thailand, UK, Australia or US.

When I say "authentic Indian", I mean shot IN India. I'm not slamming on anyone's sites.

I guess I'm part fool, but have shot in several very dangerous countries and found that if you have a good local contact that knows how to get things done and the right palms to grease, you have little problems. Sometimes the police will even help you for the right price. We have had police help in Colombia, Burma and Cambodia... and they will shut shit down for you, run people off and keep lookers away. The trick is not having them turn on you when it's all done. I've been there a few times and understand a bit of the culture and how India works (or rather doesn't work) and have some slick & crazy friends there to help.

Either way... it's a matter of having the time to go and do it. Not sure on that just yet.
