The website would be a great medium for models/talent and those who shoot the content.

Models/talent can come to the website and post the pictures, portfolio, previous works, etc.. or they can browse wanted ads. Content producers can go to the website to view all the available talent, or they can post wanted ads and wait for a specific type of person to find them.

I worked with another guy who tried to set up something like this. For it to be popular, you really need a credibility factor - that is photographers know that the girls they hire are reliable and vice versa. Otherwise, it's just another posting board - right?

Credibility factor says it all. It ain't just "build it...they will come."

Not to dissuade anyone from their ambitions, but the idea is nothing new and as others have pointed out...already been done many times over, often by accredited photographers, producers and known talent scouts and agencies.
