I clearly remember buying the original X-Box for right at $200 when it launched. I got very lucky and got a specially packed box that included 1 controller with it. I haven't looked lately, but when I last did, WalMart was going to list the bare bones version of 360 at $300. And...and this is a huge and for me...games will be higher as well.

I'm sorry. It was nearly $300 when I got it. I had a brain quake. But I really don't think that the live capability was with it when we got it. I can remember being at Circuit City and buying the router and all the crap to network it, the headphones and some game...Halo?...I dunno, I just buy the stuff. Anyhow, the sales guy wanted me to adopt him.
