Of course its hard to imagine going about without something you are used to since almost the birth.
About a decade ago I didn't eat any kind of meats, be that mamals, poultry or fish for 5 straight years. Never in my life my body felt better than those 5 years. But one day I said "fuck it", got lazy and now I modestly consume meats. I eat once or twice a day and I still feel good, but nothing like meatless.
Also depending on a lifestyle meats sometimes requires, if you're in construction for example, but its a much better feeling without it, once you get used to it.
Please dont' think I'm advocating anybody to switch, just sharing a view that is so strange to most.

Your body need meat ... I like a good filet mignion once in a while ... but I normally eat chicken.
I eat a lot of nuts / chickpea n stuff like that ... but I still need my meat couple times a week...
