Hey speaking of dog clothes, I just recently got a short haired dog (pit bull) and am wondering if i should get him a sweater for when we go for walks when the weather starts to get a little colder. I have always had longer hair dogs in the past, my last dog was a 13 year old rottie/lab that I had since he was 8 weeks old.

He's an awesome dog. Will let kids climb all over him. Plays with the cats, which is damned funny to watch. Is just an all around goofball. BUT...when that doorbell rings, he's the first one at the door barking like nuts and intimidating the heck out of anyone on the other side...

i have a shorthair blue nose pit and i never put any clothes on her.... it would just make them more whimpy

Well, he'll wear a scarf, but amazingly enough, we can't get him to wear shoes. However, he does have a favorite pair of flip-flops that he wears all the time

The kids named him. Not sure how it came to be, but he's certainly a "Dexter"
