    Northeast Rain & Flooding, How Bad?

    Geez! The rain all week in the northeast has FUCKED shit up bad.

    Totally caught me by surprise! Glad I ain't back there in this shit but almost was!

    Fucking flooding and sewers backing up. Upstate NY towns look like N'Orleans flooding.

    Anybody here up there seeing this?

      stuck in traffic yesterday afternoon ready to have an aneurism... damn section of highway closed due to flooding, so fuck it went down breakdown lane then reverse up on ramp to get off highway to take back roads & still slow ass bumper to bumper traffic.. half way there roads closed because the road sunk & collapsed.. nothing but a big hole--pissed me off. almost 2 hours for what normally takes 5-10 minutes.. damn head almost exploded

          Wasn't that bad from what I could see around here. From NYC to a few towns west of Passaic/Paterson the only flooding I saw were right next to the river. a block from my friend's house had water about 9 ft higher than usual, but the banks of the river kept most of it in and flooded some backyards and a playground.

                  That's what I heard and saw the pics and news broadcasts. Roads washed out and power out in some places. Worst rain in memory if all is correct.

                      Well at least all the news isn't bad. Jersey is west of the storm so it didn't get hit as hard. Downstate NY and all points north and northeast got hit. NH got hit too from what I've seen. Gonna make some calls back east today and get the story first hand from friends and kin.

                          I can believe it. They're upstate in NY as many towwnships have been declared state of emergency.

                          Hoping all the crops got harvested before this shit hit though or people are gonna lose lotsa money.

                          Lucky it happened now instead of spring or summer or there'd be mold nightmares to deal with as well as critters coming up out of the ground.

                          A full week of rain and more is fucking crazy. That storm is just sitting there and sitting there. Remnants of Hurricane Tammy I hear.
