Yes, the free version of Comus (2% skim) is stiil available until Nov.1st. Thanks to the_wizz for posting the link.
We reccomend several free trade scripts that make an excellent combo with Comus. And btw, Comus always will have a free script edition, it just won't be the entire full version for free. As it is now, the 2% skim is the only thing that separates the free version from the domain license. So get your downloads before the deadline, and you always get free upgrades! Get in our forums if you need help or email me personally!

Hi, AMADude !!! I finally made it over!
Only issue I've run in to is not being able to do the automatic updates correctly because my host has the suexec wrapper installed in apache.
Meaning, I can't execute anything in a 777 directory. I managed to upgrade the script on one of my sites manually. Only took 24 hours for me to get the kinks worked out. Now I'm saving up the mental strength to do it again on two other domains.
Only thing I wish comus did was act as a trade script as well.
If it was a complete package (we're talking TM3 style trade script) then I would pony up the dough to buy a billazion (well, not that many) but a couple of copies anyways....Comment

The trick to your suexec problem is to
chmod -Rf 755 ct
which fix the permissions for all the files on Comus in an suexec system....
As for a Comus integrated trade script- it is one of the most requested features among our webmasters. Sixzeros is contemplating two options: developing one himself or partnering up with tradescript developer to create one. So you get your wish!
