from production to broadcast. i know nothing about this process. are there companies that can do the whole thing for you? produce it and buy the airtime?

good question. I do know an hour spot on QVC is about 100,000. For some reason I want to say its a bit lower for national 'evening' airtime on the larger networks, but im not positive anymore.

i assume you buy the time from the local cable companies, right? although at this point it's national companies.

Direct TV and Dish Network sell national time only and that makes it much more simple but I think you will reach a more rurual and older population.

Dealing with your local cable company sales people can be a headache.

You can buy some really cheap cable time if you buy into time slots that go unsold. Email me at [email protected] and I will send you over a rate card that a sales guy sent me recently.
