Thats a lot of the problem. The world is filled with ignorant fools and both sides play them like a fiddle. Average people take everything they see in the "news" at face value.

A perfect example would be that douchebag from the Scarborough Report. Stern had a guy who sounded like Gov. Arnie call in and support him about blowing up the moon. (They played it yesterday in a best of segment). This douche on the Scarborough Report starts ripping Arnie a new asshole about the situation in his commentary without even checking sources to confirm that it was actually him. If someone who is supposed to be giving you the news can fall prey to believing everything he hears, how can you expect Joe Average not to?
