to top it off the examples in that video were totally silly, look at this guy who was "OBVIOUSLY AND CLEARLY" shot in the leg and claim he was faking the whole thing. hahaha tht was hilarious..

Then the guy shooting into the empty building.. , the commentator must have never been in the military because theres a completely reasonable explanation for that.. ( many of them ) nobody was saying "he was shooting at people" nobody said anything , it just looked like he was shooting people to the viewer, that doesn't mean he was actually just shooting to impress the camera.. he could have been providing cover , or a distraction ( as he was supposedly directly behind the isreali outpost )

The only thing in that video with any credence was the tank shelling , and even that they only show one part of the building , the other side could have been shot the fuck out and they just never looked.. , and wow so there was a langage barrier or he was just an exxagerator , that doesnt extrapolate into " all media is made up by palestinians" and the point of the video was to imply exactly that..

If it were any sort of "fair" broadcast , he would have made it clear that not all media comes from palestinians , and that "most" of the things we see and hear are real and as ugly and disgusting as they appear.. instead it implied several obviously FALSE facts . like that palestinians had the "best" of the world media to fake everything for them . like the live body on the stretcher when we know they did that on pupose just like the kids with the fake bombs strapped around their waist's, its symbolism.. do you really wanna see a bombing victim on a stretcher in 8 pieces ? i think not.

Actually, if you paid attention, instead of listening to histerical partisan rhetoric, you would notice that all the ridiculous and crappy anti-obscenity
legistlation is coming from BOTH sides of the fence. This is coming from people pressuring their representatives.... of BOTH parties, to do something about the porn that is so available online. I don't agree with it, but if you believe that it is only coming from republicans, I think that you are completely fooling yourself.
The reason why these laws are coming down is that the average persons attitude has changed. Polititians of BOTH sides are responding to pressure from their most active constituents. Regardless of who wins the next set of elections, the pressure on this industry is not going to change ONE BIT. The thing that congressmen listen to most of all is real honest communications from their constituents in their own districts, and this is what those guys are hearing from the people that actually vote for them.

As for new regulations on the industry, we have been operating pretty much wide open for the last 10 years. Even with the latest regulations, we STILL don't have even 20% of the regulations that the average resturant owner has to deal with.

I have to say that a lot of people I have heard whining about the regs that we have to follow would be aghast at what they would have to deal with in owning your average retail food business.

That doesn't mean that I like it, but it does mean that I'm grown up enought to deal with it.

and by the way, this has nothing to do with the point of my thread.

Thats a lot of the problem. The world is filled with ignorant fools and both sides play them like a fiddle. Average people take everything they see in the "news" at face value.

A perfect example would be that douchebag from the Scarborough Report. Stern had a guy who sounded like Gov. Arnie call in and support him about blowing up the moon. (They played it yesterday in a best of segment). This douche on the Scarborough Report starts ripping Arnie a new asshole about the situation in his commentary without even checking sources to confirm that it was actually him. If someone who is supposed to be giving you the news can fall prey to believing everything he hears, how can you expect Joe Average not to?
