bush has deeper issues brewing at the investigation level over some business dealings that are being looked into. i don't forsee his approval rating climbing at all.

Yes it matters, tehy all have egos and they want to be remember as important and good presidents.
Nixon was suicidal after what happened to him and he didn't even do anything remotely as bad as Bombing an innocent country.

It is a tough position to be in to have extreme beliefs at either end of the spectrum, conservative or liberal.

Political correctness as an example, balance is the key to mass appeal and functionality at a national level.

No one likes to be told what to do. People like the freedom to be able to make choices that are good for themselves and their families. Any type of extremism is bad.
