    jays-xxx-links.com (looks like someone is refbombing the domain)

    ... just doing my research on the latest tricks and found out the someone must be respaming jay's site, wonder if this will get him banned in the next update?

      Hmmm, interesting. But I doubt whoever is doing this (I seriously doubt its Jay) won't accomplish their goal. His site is so full of relevant links that even 9000+ spammy links should go unaffected. From my experience a banning comes from percentage of spammy links compared to overall links so I doubt whoever is doing this will get Jay banned.

                  100% not him doing it, wouldn't makes sense at all, it is someone that knows that excessive refspaming will get any domain blacklisted within month.

                  ... just to add, if you refbomb the wrong site they may also shutdown your site.

                              I used this method of PR gaining once and it worked. And the site still has its PR and it still gets hits like mad...

                              So... If you don't know about how google figures this kinda shit out, don't waist our time.

I wouldn't worry so much though, like I said, I get the impression Google basis their bannings on the percentage of links which are refspam. And for the most part I imagine they check this by checking the anchor text if its matches the url that's being linked. Now compared to the number of legit backlinks you have, even at 50k spammy links I think you'll still be fine. Let me try and look if there's a way to find out the spammers IP though.

                                                              Contacting CECash might help you with that refcode to get in touch with this webmaster.

                                                                  Yeah man - I just checked my backlinks and none of them are even showing up yet. Most of my backlinks are actually from sites I've listed and are legit.

                                                                          The problem with spammed backlinks is that its quick. It will get you noticed in Google quickly and it won't show the backlinks for at least one update. But do a search for just your url (like the link in the first post) and you'll see there's over 8000 instances of your urls. The first 2 pages all seem legit but look at the other ones. Clearly spammed urls.

A half year ago he stole my site layout. I am not sure why he is still listed in google and yahoo. (since over a year) With every update I think hope he is gone, but nothing. He is cloaking his sites and has several subdomains with nearly the same content. All his domains (over 170) are listed on 2 IP's.
