Not free, but autoblogger pro kicks ass for generating se traffic. I put a post at http://www.sharkyfarts.com about it. A friend built it for me, and is selling it.

The Site's not completely ready yet so hit me up on ICQ if you have any questions about it.

Written in PHP. Just need php, and mysql. ICQ me if you want some more information or to check out some demos. The site is not completely ready just yet.

some seemingly small blogs actuall have TONS of sitemap items. I'm surprised one of my blogs actually almost hit the 500 url limit for the ROR tool

There are a bunch of free sitemap tools for wordpress and other sites. Google has one specifically to make a map then notify them of the update.
