    700 gb how much should that cost me?

    redoing my server deal. Candid is great. I love them but just checking up on them.

              We must have one webmaster on here who has a server and can compare.

              This gets me 3 servers with a 4th as back up. 700Gb transfer per month - $700. I think I am happy just checking it out.

                      Not to sound too spammy, but you can get a p4 2ghz w/ 60 gig drive, 512M of memory and 900 gig of transfer for $400 a month, fully managed. This is "normal" price before specials, and I can get you better: M3Server

                                  I pay for 1.5 TB transfer, managed server (sorry i dont remember exact details right now, its probably 2.4 celeron and 1gb ram), cpanel included, 180usd per month.

                                                  ok I am less happy now. I do use lots of different aspects of their service. I do not want to get into server management.

                                                  I have 3 servers. I use them to seperate the different companies and for other reasons. (mainstream employees don't have to wade through cumslutwhoe.com type of domains to get to theres).
                                                  So 3 servers is the deal but I think that is really driving up my cost.

                                                          The amount of servers you have is going to have an impact on the price for sure. Separating "groups" of domains is pretty easy, I really don't see why 3 servers are needed. But overall if you're happy with your service, stick with it. Going for the better price isn't always a good idea.

                                                                      700GB is nothing. You could easily be on one server.

                                                                              i have a dedicated box with 1000gb of transfer for $299...and this is fully managed...and their support can't be beat...i have tried 3 other companies and they didn't come close to the service level
