That is the point of the surgery...to look and feel better about oneself...not denying that. -------

anyone who denies that must have issues lying to himself AND to others on a topic that is obviously all about looks. what im also saying is that women focus a lot more on their apparence than men. now you can still try and come up with individual cases but im stating facts.

Yeah, we do. We HAVE to. Media...remember. I seldom wear makeup unless I am doing a shoot. I'm a makeup artist and to tell the truth, I put it on other people so much I tire of putting it on myself. So the makeup thing too, is depending on the chic. Phogirl won't leave the heezie without it, and I envy her..I used to do makeup every morning..but now...(whew) like I said...I do it so much for others, that I dread picking up the blush brush. Don't get me wrong..I LOVE MAKEUP...but I only do it for others now. My face is ok without it..at least, others agree with me on that one, too.
We HAVE TO LOOK GOOD. It is expected of us to. Men...(lol)

i do admit i am biased since i hang around pretty girls who are obviously more superficial than average. it does not change the fact that women have a hard time accepting themselves and therefore have a lot more to prove

Yeah, we do. And pretty girls ARE more superficial because we have to keep up the image and the whole persona of what we create (especially us chics online..more pressure to keep up.)So, you are right...you just came off wrong in the intial post...
