safest and absolutely *most* discreet (i.e. no paper-trail!) is to go to a site that allows cash deposits for conversion to eGold... i personally use GoldAge and have never had a problem w/ my funds submitted through them, they do charge a nominal fee though but nothing extravagant.

i don't know about their european banking setups, but here in the states they have a large list of common banks that you can go in and make a cash deposit that they will credit to your eGold acount w/in a few hours.

for the services i generally utilize eGold for, i prefer to use as much discretion as possible, for what its worth..
