At first the membership for the old Database updates service was a yearly membership, and the entire service was controlled by guitariff. He quit the entire job back in Nov 2004, and I've started it again with my own Databases in April 2005.

Previous members still have access to the old DB until Nov2005 when the last membership should be expired, and previous members have the opportunity to subscribe to the new DB updates service with a 50% discount.

So members of the old DB updates Service payed a $50 subscription fee, and $75 for one of my Databases (=$125), which is still less than $150 a lifetime subscription to one of my DBs would cost normalwise. So in the end members of the old Database Service still have an $25 advantage against new subscribers.

And additionally I'd like to mention that I've never seen a dime of guitariffs money, I'm basically giving $75 discount on my DBs to clean up the mess he caused
