    Can I transfer a domain 3 days before expiring?

    good question, as transfers can take longer then a week

    i'm interested to hear the answer as well... can anyone shed some light on this?

        Just to be on the safe side, renew it and then do the transfer. It's only a few bucks.

          that's the problem, I can't renew it due to failed transactions for no reason and usually CS of domain companies take ages to get back to me... I'll pray to Allah

            i was thinking someone would post that after my reply... but i still don't know because there is a redemtion period after your domain expires.. doesn't just get released to the public right away so thats why i was wondering

                  Nope, and be careful about trying to transfer it.

                  Some registrars will charge you for the transfer renewal even though the domain will not actually be transfered.
                  Buying traffic domains in all TLDs/ccTLDs
