I lived in Lakeland ( polk county) Florida for 15 years. And it is every bit as conservative as you have been led to believe. And I am not surprised, ( and I am sure chris is not as well) that this happened. Local Law enforcement knew what he was doing , and have known for a few years. He was a police officer in this city and had many friends who still were. The press was his downfall I am certain of it. With the stong religious backing in that community, I am sure the press was really frowned upon.

I am not surprised that the sherriff was really public and really clear that this was not about dead iraqi soldiers, because he would hate for his community to think that HE was sympathetic to the Iraqi people.( YES it is that backwards) But he just can't have naked people having sex on the net, not on his watch, not from his town.

The Dutch news mentioned that he got arrested aswell.....they also mention
the more than 300 charges. Additional they said that the guy claims he's under
Dutch juristiction as his server is the Netherlands. I don't think they'll buy that
though
