Payment options (I think webmasters should read this).
OK, we have a lot of fun posting silly threads, but I think this one is worth a read.
The net must have thousands or porn sites that are good. By this sites that are full of content, exclusive or not. Plus Thousand more rubbish sites, these just offering a handful of picks.
These days with hosting and bandwidth costs becoming much cheaper and broadband more popular, people expect content each month, films in good quality, and high quality photographs. Well if I was to join a site, that is what I would want.
But just about all porn sites seem to have something in common. This is the monthly subscription. OK, people may not cancel through laziness, but I wonder how many sites do keep members longer than 3 months. {at this point we will get lots of promoters saying that they do with there site, and that's why we should promote them].
But I wonder how long it takes to download all the content someone could want from a site. OK, some sites make it so that you cannot download picks, and some make it that to watch a vid clip you have to type in a password - all things that would piss me off and make me not want to join that site.
One interesting fact is that if I chat to people about porn sites, many could not name one. Often they just seek out the free stuff (such as my site www.DVTimes.com). You may say, these people would never pay to join a pay/porn site, yet, the person I spoke to had tons of brand new DVD porn.So he was happy to buy it.
But this is getting off the point.
My point is, is it now time rather than offering monthly subscriptions, to offer quarterly ones instead. My thought is that people will not bother to cancel, and will stay longer with a site.
