I share your concern about fundamentalism. But mine is not limited to Islam. I am also concerned about Christians, especially in the US. As liberalism falls away, nothing will exist the stop the Christian fundies. True, they don't resort to terror. But, they don't have to. They already have power.
Christian mythology also has their diety saying the earth is theirs, and they must rise up and kill the no belivers. You suggested I read the Koran. I suggest you read the Old Testament.
