    Can anyone tell me what the hell this means?

    3. chmod the folder to 777

    I'm trying to install comusthumbs script, and don't know what they want to do.

    any help would be great...

      right click on the folder click properties and click all the little boxes it should make it chmoded to 777
      SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60. Let me repeat... A 120 x 60 button and no more that 3 lines of DEFAULT SIZE AND COLOR text.

                      If you're working over FTP, issue this command to the FTP server: "site chmod 777 dir_name"

                      It will make the directory world writable, which is not a good idea though...

                          if you don't know how to chmod a dir on your server you should backtrack and learn a few basic linux commands

                              yeah its not a good idea, but sometimes your scripts make you do that.

                                  If it is comus you have to on some of the folders.

                                  If you wait a little while with this thread, you can probably get someone to set it up for you for just a little cash.

                                  We ran into some issues, and someone fixed it for us for 35$
