No doubt. I know I'd definately be interested!Originally posted by hershie
I hope CCBill actually did a more exhaustive study of real interest from CDN's beyond the post they made on 2 message boards asking if there was any interest. I didn't reply in the thread and am sure 99% of interested parties didn't as well.[URL=http://www.stupidcash.com/referral=sailorslut/]

If you're still looking for "resident agents" in the USA. I've recently setup one Canadian AWM with a USA company, and a Visa-capable CCBill account. So far, the arrangement has gone well, and I'm looking to do the same for other Canadian AWM's. The owner of that company is the one that referred me to this thread.Originally posted by xxxdesign-net
Would surely be awesome if they can process cards beyond North America... I have all the trouble in the world finding a "resident agent" in the states.. willing to give out his personal info to ccbill....
Here's how the pricing will probably go, depending on the particulars of your business:
$200 setup for an American business + $60 per month maintenance
$200 setup for a High Risk CCBill account + a monthly maintenance fee that depends on the details of your business and the risk and time commitments shouldered by my company.
CCBill's fees are additional, off the top of my head, they are:
$750 for high risk Visa processing fees
$30 per month account maintenance fee
14.5% commission, which decreases with higher volume processing.
It's a bit novel how the arrangement works, and it will take some explaining. Leave me your email if you want to get in touch. I can do pretty much anything you can imagine, my services go way beyond CCBill accounts.Comment

That's awesome,I 'm going to search into it right now. Thanks!SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.Comment

I want to make it clear that Qwasty does not represent CCBill in any way, nor is CCBill associated with any entity that claims to provide a solution for Canadian businesses that wish to process Visa transactions.Originally posted by qwasty

Well, I think it's already pretty clear that I'm not a representative of CCBill. In any case, I have discussed this type of an arrangement in detail with CCBill representatives, and they've said that there's no problem at all with it. Our accountants call it a "pass-through" arrangement, and it's 100% legal and it conforms to all of CCBill, Visa, and everyone else's rules and regulations.Originally posted by corvett

OK, I just got done with a telephone conference with several of the higher-ups in CCBill, apparently my posting has gotten quite a bit of attention over there. Let me make it crystal clear that I have no interest in upsetting CCBill, or any of their partners. I also want to thank them for taking the time to discuss their concerns with me.Originally posted by xxxdesign-net

CCBill made it very clear to me that they do not in any way support Canadian webmasters. That little phrase is a bit tougher to work around than I was lead to believe when initially setting up a CCBill account for one of my Canadian clients.
However, the situation is not hopeless, it just might be a bit more complicated. In the case of the client that I've already made arrangements with, he owns an American company, and the funds from the CCBill account are going to his American company, and not to Canada.
CCBill's main concern is that what I'm doing must follow the spirit of Visa's requirements - That every company processing Visa transactions must be based in the USA, and have principles in the USA (owners).
So, I need to put a bit more work into the structure of each arrangement that's made, if any. These issues may alter the expenses that I've outlined previously, and it may be a no-go in some situations if it turns out that CCBill's requirements cannot be met cost-effectively.
While I let the information sink in that I've just been given from CCBill, I'll be getting in touch with all of you who are interested, and we can discuss the issues involved - Needless to say, I'm going to be picky about who I deal with, so make a good impression. We'll see what happens next.Comment

Nightly deposits.. problem is you now handle chargebacks so paperwork comes into play. You can store and rebill your own customers etc..

Moneris is EXTRMELY selective about any adult accounts that they do. We are setup as agents for them.

This is about the 5th time I have heard this exact same story. From what I can remember EVERY online adult merchant account in Canada has been shut down in the past. Even though the bank approved it and stated that online adult was fine. I would be very carefull, get your approval through VISA not the bank.
