Reckless is defined as "marked by defiant disregard for danger or consequences"
Endangerment is defined as "hazard: a source of danger; a possibility of incurring loss or misfortune"
While the shotgun being discharged accidently was a source of danger and had the possibility of inccuring loss or misfortune, I hardly think that the person who did said act did it with a defiant disregard for the consequences. It's not like the person who did said act looked that carpet and said "DIE MOTHERFUCKER DIE" and pulled the trigger.
