Kerry Takes Lead Over Bush in AP Poll
I don't really care if Kerry wins or not, but it would be an interesting experiment. The only thing he would do differently is repeal the tax cut for those that make over $200,000/year and raise taxes. Other then that it'll be just like having Bush in office, only with a D next to his name instead of an R. At least the whining will switch sides. The liberals will start cheering everything Kerry does and the conservatives will boo everything Kerry does. For my money, it's a wash. None the less, at least there would have been a change of power. I would prefer that presidents be limited to one term as it keeps things changing more. None of the BS that happens during lame duck terms. Fresh faces and ideas every 4 years. To me, that is the only thing going for Kerry over Bush. Bush doesn't have anything going over Kerry, IMHO.
No matter what, it's going to be close and that means that one side is going to be screaming about how they got robbed. Everybody, brace yourselves for a bumpy 4 years, it's going to be a rough ride regardless of the outcome.
