I love hot sauce on most dishes. My favorite grocery store brands are Trappy's or Louisiana Hot Sauce over Tabasco (they are about the same heat, the big difference is Tabasco has more of a vinegary taste while the others have more flavor).
I entered the pepper eating contest one year at the Louisiana Pepper festival and came in 2nd. I made the guy who had won it for 8 years straight sweat it out before finally conceeding to him. It wasn't the heat, I had eaten so many (8 plates) that I was hurting from fullness. He had won with 4 plates the year before
My brother-in-law ordered some hot sauces online and gave me one that was actually too much for me. It was called Black Widow (had a black plastic spider glued to the neck). If you got even the slightest bit on your hand and washed with soap and water but touched your face it would set it on fire..Comment

I think the worst are the habanero sauces (usually orange). It's not the heat (I can practically drink most store brands), they have a nasty aftertaste that always reminds me of a medicine or chemical. Bleh! The jalapeno sauces are OK but I prefer the red sauces.
