just dont forget about all the times the leafs dismanteled the sens in the playoffs over the past few years ;)Originally posted by ronaldoI suspect it'll be more like this...

Is it tough Chris watching all of the experts picking the Senators to win the cup and the Leafs to barely squeak into the playoffs? Inquiring minds want to know.icq: 375956791Comment

Every season it's the same old "Go Leafs Go" story. At the end of the season the Leafs never manage to win the cup or even find themselfs in the finals. Ottawa will kick Leaf Nation ass as they do mostly every time they play. I recall the Leafs loosing a pre-season match-up of like 20-0 against the Flyers on Toronto ice. I laughed my ass off.Originally posted by jrapGo Leafs Go

Sure do and enjoy visiting the ACC often during the playoff season. Was great that last active season (prior to the strike). Toronto was hopping. It feels great being in hockey discussions with knowledgeable hockey fans. Being knowledgeable and having the Leafs play impressive hockey are two different animals.Originally posted by PipecrewDo you even follow Hockey?

Let's recap.
You wonder why the average fan hates the Leafs Chris? Here's why. The Leafs are given EVERY damn opportunity to WIN and they still bloody well can't.
I didn't watch the whole game, but here's what I did catch.
-Obvious goal in the first period not credited to Ottawa or even REVIEWED (That alone gave Ottawa the win)
-Peter Schaeffer gets a DIVING penalty while Tucker (Not positive on that one) gets an interference penalty. With the Leafs up 2-1 and 4 minutes to play, god forbid the Leafs go shorthanded
-The refs DO review a potential Leafs goal in the 3rd period that wasn't even close to being in.
-In overtime Spezza breaks out with another Sen (again, I believe Schaeffer), who's CLEARLY tripped on the play to avoid a 2 on 1. No call.
-Pierre Maguire even states the Leafs catch a break when they have too many men on the ice in the last two minutes.
-At the end of overtime, the Sens are awarded a powerplay-presumably so the penalty minutes don't look too askew in the Leafs favor.
Your Leafs stole a point tonight Chris. I figure it's the refereeing like that that's gonna get your team into the playoffs. Congrats!Comment

Toronto outplayed the Sens tonight in every situation.
Were you watching the same game as the rest of us?

About what I expected.Originally posted by Evil ChrisToronto outplayed the Sens tonight in every situation.

Surely you MUST admit that no matter HOW badly the Leafs outplayed the Sens they should have lost the game 3-2.
(Final shots on goal 25-23 Leafs??? Outshooting the other team by 2 with 12 more minutes in power play time??? Dominating performance no doubt. For the Leafs I'm sure it is.)Comment

Was one of the most boring game I've watched . Leafs dominated ... but on the shoutouts, Sens got more talent.Originally posted by rayadp05I rebooted, deleted temp files, history, cookies and everything...still cannot view the news clip. All I see is that fucking gay ass music video from "Rick Roll". Anyone else have a different link to the news clip?Comment
