                                                                                                  You can be certain this was all discussed contentiously in the UK.

                                                                                                  The problem as I see it is that some don't approve of the means to the end. There's no doubt oil is wrapped up in all this, but thats not the key issue. Terrorism is the issue. the two towers and the two US hostages executed and the remaining UK hostage. There's no doubt the US is now the worlds police and that may be a good thing, and it may be a bad thing, but a world police is now needed for sure. And sometimes the police have to use their weapons and sometimes people get hurt.

                                                                                                  But all in all, would we rather live in a country or world without police ? Not me .. for sure.


                                                                                                  As an aside ...

                                                                                                  Its a big issue and a difficult issue. The Dylan lyrics are good. The irony for us in Europe is that the legal ownership of guns is highly controlled. Shotguns for hunting and thats about it. As we all know over here ... there are more guns in the US than people.
