Like someone said... you will be a lot more unhappy when the chargebacks (and associated fees) start rolling in. Has he offered to pay these if you quit like this? If so, then get it in writing (from him)
A smarter compromise to the situation at this point might be to leave the site up with whatever archives you have....and post a statement something to the effect of:
"due to personal issues, I do not know when the next updates to this site will occur. It could be days, weeks, months - or maybe never. If you would like to cancel at this point, I would completely understand. Either way, please wish me luck. -MandyXXX "
And then let your webmasters know the same and let them know that you will contact them if/when updates continue again.
THEN tell your boyfriend "See. I've made a HUGE fucking compromise here. Now prove to me that you're not going to have ongoing problems and never let me live down what I used to do"
If he's cool with you for 6 months without any BS.... THEN maybe consider pulling it all... after giving people a good 30-60 day warning.

It is a VERY sudden move. Making decisions on the spur of the moment like this is usually not wise (but it's the curse of youth). You really need to think things over and consider all the possible ramifications before doing anything. How do you know you won't change your mind again tomorrow? Maybe the guy is an asshole.
