saw a guy drown when i was a kid. He was a huge fat guy, took nearly 4 people to drag him out of the water, they tried to revive him but he was dead long before the ambo's got there.

This will sound morbid - but at the time I was absolutely fascinated with watching the whole process. There were about 15 or 20 people doing different things around guy that drowned. The usual screaming and crying and then there was the people calling hte ambo's and discussing how to revive him - the people trying to revive him.

Also have attended funerals with open caskets and I tell you what this has to be the absolute WORST tradition to have at a funeral. A very good friend of my died last year and all I can see when I think of him is his stone dead, cold, motionless body in the casket. It's a terrible thing to do - never ever shall I go to another open casket
