Anyone here using an off the shelf script to run a video site were users can upload a video or email a link to friends. Just want to experiment with this phenomenon

The ones you know about. There are tons of those sites that are sucking shit and not getting traffic. It's the same concept as in porn. The problem I see with these types of sites are copyright violations. Let's say you post a revised nintendo clip, funny family guy picture, or funny clip from a movie, all it takes is for one big corporation to get pissed off and shut you down and go after your assets. I don't think it's worth it unless your either dumping non copyrighted videos or going offshore. Bandwidth is also an issue but I am sure income usually covers that costComment
