True. BTW people should read as much info about their favourite breed to prevent unpleasant surprises.
Every dog´s behaviour depends on how he is brought up of course, but certain genetic qualities can not be changed.
The worst thing to do is to choose your dog just because of his looks.
But maybe the chow would be make perfect match for you
Our neighbour had one some time ago. His was not very friendly to strangers, but was devoted to his owner very much.
