NYC Party Details
hey everyone.
I know the focus is on Internext, but for those of you coming to my party here in NYC in Sept, I just sent out the hotel info to everyone who's registered. If you're planning on coming and haven't registered, please do (follow my sig), so you'll get any info I send out in the future.
Here's the deal so far:
Sept 27th:
This is the Industry-Only party, a chance to hang out and network. There will be an open bar and great music. This night will be mellow and situated in a lounge-type atmosphere, so we that we will all get a lot of business done. It will be held in the VIP section of Float, a club located in Times Square, walking distance from the hotel. After we?re done wheeling and dealing everyone will be on the guest list at an after hours party in Manhattan.
Sept 28th:
This will be a big party for both industry and the general public. You will be on the list at the door and will not have to pay a cover. Again we will start in the VIP section of Float and then make our way down to the main space. This night won?t be mellow? I promise!
All women get in free.
Dress Code:
Dress nice but comfortable, no jeans, sneakers, t-shirts.
Travel:
If you are coming into NYC from out of town you can fly into either LaGuardia or JFK airports. I usually use Orbitz (http://www.orbitz.com/) to book my flights; they seem to have pretty good deals. Take a taxi or car service into the city.
For those of you coming by train or subway I will have directions for you when we get closer to the party.
Hotel:
We have a block of rooms reserved for us at the Best Western Presidential right in Times Square. For reservations call 1 800 826-4667, ask for ?Feel Free?. Please book as soon as you can, it is going to be busy week in the city, as it is Fashion Week.
Our discounted room rates are:
$139.00 for a standard room.
$169.00 for a Jr. Suite, the Jr. Suite is twice the size of the standard room, has a sitting room and many have Jacuzzi baths.
