My beloved cat is called Gollum. He has Down's syndrome, (yes cats can get it too), and an enlarged heart. Every day that I have him with me is a day that I'm happy. He's so sweet and stupid, poor guy. His tail ges out for about 3 inches before it curls in on itself in a big knot. That's the way he was laying in utero, and that's how he developed.

He's cuddly and loves me like nothing else. I am his personal human, though he likes to get attention from anyone and everyone. He sleeps with me, follows me around like a lost puppy, and when he meows at me, I swear to all that's holy he says, "Mom?"
